Internship – Sales Representative

Our client in the building industry is searching for a Junior Sales Representative for a 12-month Internship.

Requirements:

  • Sales & Marketing qualification or equivalent qualifications
  • 6 months – 2 years experience in a Sales role
  • Excellent peoples person
  • Fully computer literate
  • MUST have own transport and license

Overall responsibility of the position

  • Within the overall strategic objective of the company, the Junior Sales Representative will:
  • Acquiring new business
  • Implement sales strategies aligned to meet sales targets
  • Maintaining excellence in customer relations
  • Cold Call and generate leads

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement sales, customers and new business
  • Excellent Product Knowledge
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Expert knowledge of sales territories and how to attract business
  • Analysis of market trends and cold call potential customers
  • Generate Sales Leads
  • Understand pricing, quotations and be able to generate such
  • Prepare reports and sales statics
  • Drafting of sales procedures
  • Sales Administration thereof
  • Must be dynamic and a people‚Äôs person
  • Handle difficult customers
  • Be sales and customer orientated
  • Ability to achieve a marginal target

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and maintain sales business
  • Intermediate selling skills
