Salary R5481.34 per month 


  • Effective communication between staff and store management
  • Delegating to staff in order for store to run smoothly
  • Assist in running of the branch including opening and closing the store
  • Motivate, evaluate, coach, and counsel staff within limits of authority
  • Provide on the job training for customer service and product knowledge
  • Provide on the job selling skills training
  • Conduct visual merchandising skills training
  • Assist with scheduling of work week for all staff
  • Safe handling and float allocation to cashiers
  • Banking cash
  • Authorise refunds, exchanges and miscellaneous transactions timeously and accurately
  • Open contracts for lay-byes and process lay-bye payments
  • Reconcile cashier related admin
  • Investigate till shortages and overages
  • Assist customers with queries
  • Merchandising and physical maintenance of sales floor
  • Driving availability of stock on the shop floor
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Authorising IBT of Stock
  • Investigating slow lines/ weekly/monthly zero sale items
  • Communicate in-store promotional items to staff in advance
  • Understanding the profit and loss report to increase sales and profit and reduce shrinkage
  • Implement and manage loss prevention standards
  • Patrolling the store and conducting perimeter checks
  • Investigate mix pairs, damage and shrinkage 
  • Perform stocktake duties such as preparation, binning and counting, investigating variances and zero counts
  • Identifying health and safety hazards
  • Assist neighbouring stores on a temporary basis when short staffed
  • Promote customer service culture by ensuring consumer has a great customer experience


  • Valid Grade 12 certificate or higher
  • Computer Literate
  • Fashion retail experience
  • Driver’s license (advantageous but not compulsory
