Key Performance Areas:
•Conduct pro-active and re-active forensic investigations, digital data evaluation, collection, collation and analysis on databases • Perform re-active collections and analysis of digital data on electronic devices • Perform pro-active fraud and anti-corruption prevention and detection programmes • Administer the annual capital and operating budgets of Forensic Services in accordance with financial regulations and legislation, e.g. MFMA • Provide Forensic Reporting for the relevant PFS and report to the Audit/Risk/MPAC/ EMT/Portfolio Committees and the Executive Mayor • Manage Forensic Services by ensuring that resources are effectively deployed • Train, lead and develop staff members of Forensic Services.

Requirements:•An appropriate tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Forensic Data Analysis, Information Technology and/or Information Systems • 8 years’ experience in forensic digital data analysis investigations • Knowledge of digital media, fraud and related offences and software and operating systems, such as Microsoft SQL, Linux as well as ACL Data Analytics and IBM i2 software and others • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, legal principles applicable to local Government and digital forensics • A valid unendorsed Code EB driver’s licence.Apply before Friday, April 12, 2019 – Companies may expire jobs at their own discretion.If you have not received a response within two weeks, your application was most likely unsuccessful.
